Emily Zaghi

Hello Floral Park Community! My name is Emily and I look forward to meeting you and to welcoming you to Kiddie Academy. First and foremost, me and my husband, Moshe, are the proud parents of three amazing daughters, ages 9, 7, and 1.5 (a Kiddie Academy toddler!). Before joining KA, I worked as a CPA in Asset Management Tax at PwC and as the Director of Operations at a national non-for-profit. I love building and supporting passionate teams of individuals, problem solving and most of all, leading with creativity and care. My goal is that the families in our Academy know that their children are getting excellent care, having fun, and learning and growing each and every day. It is my hope that parents are as comfortable leaving their children here at Kiddie Academy as they are leaving them with family. Please don't hesitate to reach out! Rachel Elias

Director

Hi! I am Rachel Elias, a member of the Kiddie Academy Team since 2017 and the Kiddie Academy of Floral Park Director since 2020. With a master's Degree in Education and years of experience in children's programs, I bring knowledge and passion to my role. I love seeing children grow and thrive at Kiddie Academy. My educational background and experience have equipped me to create engaging and nurturing environments that foster curiosity and learning. I prioritize building strong relationships with families and staying informed about the latest research and best practices in early childhood education. I believe in tailoring our approach to meet the unique needs of each child and instilling a love for learning through a holistic and personalized approach. At Kiddie Academy, we have become a trusted institution for families seeking top-notch care and education. I am dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of children and their families every day.

Grace Sciretta

Assistant Director

Hello, all! I am overjoyed to introduce myself as the Assistant Director of Kiddie Academy of Floral Park! I began my experience at Kiddie Academy of Floral Park four years ago as a dedicated preschool teacher, all while completing my Bachelors in Psychology followed by my Master’s in Social Work. In earning my Master’s degree, I pursued my fieldwork as a child & family therapist at Northshore Child & Family Guidance Center (NSGC), in the Right from the Start (0-3+)/Diane Goldberg Maternal Mental Health programs. NSGC is a not-for-profit children’s mental health agency on Long Island, dedicated to restoring and strengthening the emotional well-being of children (from birth–age 10) and their families. During my time there, I provided individual and family therapy including diagnoses, treatment plans, prevention, training, parent education, research and advocacy. I am eager to utilize my experience to connect with and support the KAFP community in every way I can!
