Teaching character education is fundamental to ensuring healthy social and emotional development in children. This is why at Kiddie Academy, we incorporate our Character Essentials® curriculum, which uses character education to derive learning from interactions a child has throughout their day with us. Character Essentials empowers educators at Kiddie Academy locations across the country to find ways to teach important character-building cornerstones including respect, sharing, manners, friendship, and compassion.
Character Essentials is implemented across all age groups – from infants to school-age children. Each age group has its own individual program to ensure it meets children where they are in their development. Each month, there is a specific theme that focuses on specific character traits.

- August – We Are Strong
- September – We Are Friends
